Description

Agfa Structurix F8 is an X-ray film with high radiation sensitivity and small grain size. Designed for specialized applications with metal fluorescent or fluorescent screens. Allows you to get contrast images with good resolution on such pictures. Supplied in an opaque envelope without paper pads, 30×40 cm format.
X-ray film Agfa F8 is characterized by sensitivity to the optical range, so it is most effective to use it in conjunction with intensifying screens with blue and ultraviolet light. Agfa RCF metal fluorescent screens have an optimal spectral match to Agfa F8 film. Exposure times can be significantly reduced by using the highly sensitive Agfa NDT 1200 fluorescent screens.
The manufacturer recommends Agfa branded intensifying screens for use with F8 film. When selecting screens of the UPV or SMP series, obtaining high-quality images is not guaranteed. In addition to the parameters of speed and contrast, systems with fluoroscreens are characterized by a certain wear resistance and durability. Practice shows that RCF screens have a longer service life in comparison with analogues.

Agfa Structurix F8 in combination with intensifying screens is used when it is necessary to inspect thick objects with the shortest possible exposure. It is used to control structures made of concrete, massive building steel structures, as well as during streaming inspection of process pipelines, corrosion or erosion monitoring.
