The GE Voluson E8 is the latest version of GE’s popular Voluson 3D/4D series of ultrasound systems. The E8 is GE’s top of the line machine, especially when it comes to 4D imaging. This system utilizes the latest GE technologies including “Active Matrix Probes” and a new 4D transvaginal probe allowing for earlier detections of fetal abnormalities. 4D Coded Phase Inversion (CPI), the newest version of Speckle Reduction Imaging (SRI III), VCAD Automated Imaging Tool, CrossXbeam Technology, HD-Flow, Compound Resolution (CRI I), Coded Harmonic Imaging, STIC B-Flow, and Volume Contrast Imaging (VCI) are just some of the options that can be implemented on the GE Voluson E8.
